HERNANDEZ AND KENN DOANE TO HEADLINE INAUGURAL JERSEY LIVE WRESTLING EVENT, MAY 1ST IN PASSAIC
PASSAIC, NJ- Jersey Live Wrestling ('JLW') will hold its debut event on Saturday night May 1st at the Boys and Girls Club on 14 Hudson St. in Passaic. The promotion is proud to announce that the main event of the evening will pit TNA superstar Hernandez against former WWE competitor, and one of wrestling's most talented free agents, Kenn Doane.
Hernandez is a current co-holder of the TNA World Tag Team Championship, alongside 'The Blueprint' Matt Morgan and the former tag team partner of area favorite, Homicide. Though an accomplished tag-team wrestler, the man known as 'Supermex' has also begun to shine in singles competition, rounding out his game with a devastating combination of power and speed. Spectacular in its simplicity, his 'Border Toss' finishing maneuver is one of professional wrestling's most brutal, and in Passaic, he'll look to add Doane to its growing list of victims.
Doane, just 24 years old, is a former WWE prodigy and co-holder of its World Tag Team Championship, first appearing on screen as a teenager. After a successful run in Ohio Valley Wrestling, he became part of the Spirit Squad and its high-profile feud with Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Since leaving WWE, he has returned to the independent scene, garnering controversy by using an efficient, old-school style of grappling. On May 1st, he returns to New Jersey knowing that a victory over Hernandez could provide a stepping stone back to national prominence.
More details on the rest of this exciting card, and how fans can secure their tickets, will be announced in the coming days and weeks as JLW prepares for what should be an exciting night of wrestling. The promotion's official website will be launched next week, followed by a brand new internet show in early April. [Credit]
